Tornadoes! We are a small but mighty, rural school in the northwest Texas Panhandle.
Texline is a great place for kids. Our teachers, technology, and school atmosphere make all the difference. Students are educated in a physically and emotionally safe environment. At the elementary level, our self-contained classrooms have great success getting everyone to grade-level and above in reading and math. We believe deeply in the Balanced Literacy Model including a strong reliance on Fountas and Pinnell methods and materials. Beyond elementary our academic programs feature multiple opportunities for hard working students. Students may graduate with up to two years’ worth of college credits through our dual credit program. We also offer multiple opportunities for Career and Technology Education (CTE) programs of study.
Being a Tornado is more than being a student. We educate the whole person. Our extra-curricular programs feature sports, FFA, One Act Play (OAP), art, student council, esports, and more. We believe strongly in giving back to the community, so we provide opportunities via community service days. We are the whole package!
